Missing data in some columns when importing an Excel file to PBI

Hi everyone,

I'm having the following problem where when I tried to import an Excel file into PBI, the data was missed out in random columns (or so I thought) while in the Excel file, there was data there.

My original Excel file has 51 columns and approximately 52,181 rows. There are blank cells also within some columns and I just filtered the first row as in the titles and did nothing else there.

Has anyone encountered this before and how did you resolve it? How did you have a full dataset imported to PBI?

Thank you so much! I appreciate any suggestion or help!

@Anonymous,

What version of Power BI Desktop do you use? Could you please share the Excel file via Private message? I will test it in my Desktop.

Regards,
Lydia
