We can't replace (update) existing Excel dataset for our customer. It is PowerPivot data model without any embedded reports and data connection (SQL Server) is done via data model not Power Query. We have 10+ reports based on that dataset. I first
tried uploading the updated dataset where 3 new columns where added to one table in the data model, 1 calculation and also 2 columns were removed. In the underlying database 1 column was deleted. All worked fine in the local Excel. After the replace/upload failure I recreated the database column and I tried to upload the original dataset. Upload/Replace still failed. Please give me some pointers on what could cause the failure?
Upload/Replace error:
Failed to publish Excel workbook

As a hint, we had data refesh schedule activated for that dataset. When I changed the underlying database column, it gave the following error:
The 'country_vat_zone' column does not exist in the rowset.
Next refresh for Dataset_WeeklyReporting is scheduled for 09/15/2015 04:00:00.
Use the feedback icon, smiley face in upper right in the service to send this to support along with a screen shot of the error.
Did it. But has anyone had a similar issue before?
After using the smiley face for troubleshooting got the following email...
Power BI has moved to a new support ticketing system to provide you with faster response times and advanced features like ticket history. You will need to resubmit your issue through the new ticket system available at https://support.powerbi.com.
And the support ticket system is down.
Pinging admins for greater visability @curth, @GuyInACube, @MiguelMartinez, @Sandy can confirm that all support ticket paths resolve in error
Thanks for the awareness. I'll forward this to the right people.
hmmm, i just tried it and it came up ok on my end. How are you getting to that link? If you go back out to support.powerbi.com and click on Ask for Help -> Content Support and click on the appropirate Basic/Pro support link, you see the error there?
@GuyInACube Yep.
Same path you just described, tried both.
First the page pops this for a quick second
Then it goes to the image I posted in my prior post.
Here are the URL's that pop:(in order)

Thanks! We are having a look. We aren't able to reproduce though. Could possibly be something environmental, but not sure yet.
@GuyInACube blegh, this is a Chrome issue, works on IE.
HA - I'm running Chrome 32 bit.. funny, here is my version: 45.0.2454.93 (Official Build) m (32-bit)
Works fine in Chrome, Edge and IE for me. Glad to hear it is working in IE for you though.
Still can't use support ticket system on OSX 10.10.4 and Chrome Version 45.0.2454.85 (64-bit).
However, the main problem was not with the ticketing ystem, but with Excel dataset upload/replace error. Can somebody help me with that? Any hints what changes might brake the sync? Otherwise we have to revert back to Excel OLAP reports. PowerBI is not reliable enough. I can't recreate reports every time when underlying dataset changes.
