I'm new to PowerBI and can see it's power - pardon the pun. My difficulty in getting started is that my company has a HUGE amount of data and I'm trying to connect to our databases and within the databases themselves it's hard to make top from bottom. I work for a life insurance company that receive and take a lot of phone calls to customers and I want to be able to create dashboards for our agents (a little over 100), our front end reporting is in ICBM and I like it at a team level - but can't see it down to the individual.
Can you advise on how to connect to Interactive Intelligence? And shoot away with any questions.
I'm looking forward to beocming more proficient.

@Anonymous,
What kind of database do you connect to in Power BI Desktop? You can import required columns and rows in Power BI Desktop, and if DirectQuery mode is available, you can use DirectQuery mode.
