Can PowerBI pull data from a SharePoint Online Content Type and present data from all sub-sites

Hi,

I want to roll-up data from across all SharePoint Sites, that have the same content type. (This is simliar to SharePoint Content Query Web part, however the web part is limited to only on coloumn of the Content Type).

For Example, there is a content Type Called "Contracts" it has 3 columns, Contract Name, Funded value, Contract value.  I want to display this data across all "Contract Sites" (each contract has its own site

Thanks

Andrew Payze

Hi @apayze,

You are able to enter the root URL of SharePoint Online subsite using SharePoint connector and import data of different subsites into your current Power BI Desktop file.

However, if you want to pull data of all subsites at a time, please firstly check if there is a OData URL returning all data of subsites from SharePoint side, then enter the URL in OData Feed entry of Power BI Desktop to connect to the data.

Here is a similar thread for your reference.
