What If Feature Contest - August 18 - September 1

Earlier this month, we announced our new What If feature in the Power BI Desktop. Many of you have been anticipating this feature for a while now, and we wanted to celebrate this release in style! So today we are excited to announce our What If Report Contest!

For this contest, we want you to show us your most creative and fun uses of What If parameters in a Power BI report. We’re looking for that crazy dataset or a cool unexpected use for parameters. Tap into your creative side to build a fun report!

If you want inspiration for what can be done, you can watch Will Thompson’s demo of What If parameters during the BI Power Hour session at the Microsoft Data Insights Summit.

This contest will run from August 18th to September 1st. You can enter by submitting your report to the Data Stories Gallery and tagging it with the What If Contest tag in the Category field.

Once the contest ends, we will judge the entries and announce the winners! Winners of this contest will be featured in a Power BI blog and receive Power BI swag, the PowerBI version of fame and fortune! We will give extra consideration to the reports that use the most creative and “out of the box” reports.
