Unable to publish to Power BI from desktop

I am just starting Lab 4:

  1. Start with the "Lab 4 - Starting.pbix" file.
  2. Use the Publish button to publish the report. Sign in using the account you used to sign up for Power BI service.

However I just get the following error:

An error occurred while attempting to publish 'Lab 4 - Starting.pbix': The request was aborted: The request was canceled.

I only have until Saturday to finish the course so I'm a little frustrated. Any help would be appreciated.

I also faced the same issue. It turned out that source connection were not defined correctly.I had to fix the connection first. After that it was published successfully.

Please find details to fix it.
