Tip: Module 2, Time Intelligence demo

If you used the VanArsdel data set to follow Module 1 as a demo file, you will need to transform the Date column in the Sales table in the Query Editor.  In the Query Editor, duplicate the column then change the data type to 'date.' 

 

Once you have done this and applied the changes, when you go back to your model you will see Year, Quarter, Month, and Day columns as shown in the demo (screenshot below).
