Lab 4 Exercise 1: Upload/Pin Visuals - YTD Total units

Lab4 YTD Total Units Error.jpgHelp, please? While attempting to complete the tasks using natural language query, I encountered an error in the second query "What is year to date total units".  The jpg with details is shown here. I'm boggled by this, and unsure of how I'd figure out the change in filters needed for dates. Any clues of where to start?

I am having the same issue!  Why is there a bar chart where did it come from?  I got total sales and total units, but it never states anything about a bar chart.  I am also not seeing the fields and visualizations information in the dashbord just when I edit the report.

@VandeFan1 I believe the question is by-design to make you think about how you're entering question.  I see this was several months ago.  The current exercise asks to enter the following questions:

  • What is year to date sales
  • What is ytd total units

I got the same issue you did when I typed in 'What is year to date sales'.  I moved on to 'What is ytd total units' and it worked, so I went back and tried 'What is YTD sales', and it worked.

I encountered similar error when trying the below natural language on ask question

  1. Type the question "What product has the highest total sales in 2015"

The earlier 2 question on YTD sales and YTD total units came up with no issue

Any help is much appreciated.

Same issue for me.  Did you find the answer anywhere?

Although you don't need **bleep** to work in order to correctly answer the question!

I just drag data to chart and got the answer, there were some logic issue on the natural language for this one, anyway the answers can be obtain from chart if you know what to look for

I am having the same issue. I can't figure out the part "

  1. Drag the Total Units field from the Sales table to the Color saturation. Notice that the bar char color saturation changes according to the Total Units for that product." that is probably leading to this issue.

Anyone able to help?
