In Lab 1 I didn't change the international sales date column to text to match the sales date column. I did that in Lab 2 when I started noticeing issues. The issue is that first the video shows the instructor using the data column not the date 2 column for his SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR date. This is strange since it is supposed to be a text normally, so I used Date 2 which has a date data type. This works find with the YTD Revenue. For some reason though I can't get the Sales table to use the International Sales data with the date table. It always separates that data from the Sales data on charts and makes using SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR not work at all. Any ideas what is going on. I already fixed the data type in International Sales. Do i have create a relationship between Date and International Sales? Thats the only thing I can think of to do. I will say that the International Sales date column formats different from the Sales date column but they are both text, so maybe thats the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
