Lab 1 Exercise 2 Step 5

Help please.

5.  Edit the Sales Query from the US Sales.

Not sure where US Sales comes from but...

I am stuck on step 5 and 6.  From AccessDB query1, I'm attempting to append  International Sales to Sales in query editor. When I attempt to Append Queries the only options shown are the other tables within the AccessDB.

Thanks for your help.

Firstly, US Sales table means Sales table, so you can edit it to continue to do next step.

Secondly, when you select Sales table in Queries, you can use append funtion to append International Sales.

I get the result as below:

What is meant by editing the  Sales Query from the US Sales? What action is to be taken?

Re: Lab 1 Exercise 2 Step 5

It is been mentioned as US sales, but they are actually referring to the previous "Sales" table itself.

So u just have to append the Sales table with the International Sales table and are good to go.
