Export data underlying data not available

Hi,

I have dashboard published so that users can see the charts and download the raw data.

However the underlying data option isn't available so they cannot download the raw data just the information that appears in the chart.

I've searched and I found that the underlying data option isn't available due to the fact that I'm using a calculated measure in the chart.

I've also tried to change it so some kind of aggregate field but so far with no success.

Does anyone have an idea that can help me ?

Thanks

Re: Export data underlying data not available

Hi,

after searching in google I was able to change the measures to column, now it's an aggregate field and I can export data using the underlying option.

The site below help :-)

Re: Export data underlying data not available

hi,

Yes, you need the aggregate column to work on it.

see if this link helps :

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-export-data/

Moreover, on export are you able to export the file or report?

Re: Export data underlying data not available

Hi,

what do you mean with "are you able to export the file or report?" ?

I' able to export the data using the Summarized option but not the underlying.

I will try to get the same values using a column or aggregate field.

Nevertheless, if you know any workaround to retrieve the date please let me know.

Re: Export data underlying data not available

Hi @arielfilipa

You don't need to convert your measures into calculated columns.

Moving your measures back to the table where their data resides will be enough for the underlying data export to work properly.

Take care then !
