power bi embedded in django application

Hi ,

I am beginner to power bi. I started using power bi desktop recently and have created many useful dashboards. I also have taken a pro license just to put my head around collabration of reports and dashboards. Now, that the reports and dashboards are ready, I would really like to embed this reports into our application which is in django frmaework. I am totally unaware of the Azure subscriptions and all that stuff. I did some research and found the solution to be "Power BI Embedded" because it takes care of custom authentication of users. Can anybody please tell me the steps to setup this as in where should I start from? What azure subscription I should go for? Do I need to purchase a Power BI Premium(Capacity) or it should work with one pro user without upgrading to premium?. Please help me with my questions

Thanks

Akshay

Hi Akshay,

Generally, there are two scenarios of Power BI Embedding. Please refer to embed-sample-for-customers that has the details of registering your application.

You can start with a free Azure subscription when you develop and test your application. Whether a capacity is needed depends on your consumption of the contents. One scenario needs a capacity when moving to production. Please refer to embed-sample-for-customers#move-to-production
