license

I´m struggling with the power bi + power bi embedded license. I want advice on how to proceed or if I should just drop Power BI.

I´m working at a factory with 20 people using computers with personal logins and office365, there are ~100 people working as machine operators.

I want to present production data through power bi but it seems impossible.

It´s easy for the 20 people using computers with a  personal login. Just use Power BI.

It is impossible to create an account for the other 100 people because they share computers using shared logins. There are multiple people on one computer at the same time.

I would like to publish power bi reports with asp.net mvc on our intranet webportal using power bi embedded, for our machine operators. But the license say you cannot use power bi embedded internally. So, should i drop Power BI altogether or did I miss something on how to solve this?

In case you're not aware, check Publish to web from Power BI.

You can get an embed url public to web and embed it to your web application. The consumers of your report (the readers, viewers) do not need to be Power BI users.

Thank you for answer.

Unfortunately I don´t want to do that, I´m working with company sensitive data and I/we only want to show reports and data internally.

Also, some computers don´t have internet and can only access our intranet website (asp.net mvc).

Well, then I think you're looking for some on-premises stuff then. Chekc if this link would help, Power BI reports in SQL Server Reporting Services: January 2017 Technical Preview now available.
