Hi @Anonymous,

Power bi data mode table does not include row and column index, so the previous/next row is required to use filter conditions with index fields to get these values.

For your requirement, I think you need to add an index column to your table to work as condition on lookup and compare values to return result values.

Neither DAX nor Power Query have a concept of row number so they are unable to work with "A1 vs A2" unless you provide these row numbers.

Instead of trying to recreate the Excel formula (also known as "fighting the API") please describe the business problem you are trying to solve, provide sample data and show the expected outcome.
