connection in an embedded report

Hi pepleo,

 

I have reports with embedded and I want to connect to several databases depending on the custumer that I enter into the reports, the connections are different from each client, anyone have any idea?

Do the databases for customers all have the same schema? If so, you can add a parameter to the Power BI Desktop project to track the connection string. Then create the data model and the report which should be the exact same for each customer with the exception of the connection string. Next, create a Power BI Desktop project template (,PBIT) and then use that to create a seperate project (PBIX) for each customer.
