Using Contains within a query string

We currently have an application that our users within the company utilize on a daily basis. Within this application, we have a power bi link available for them to click and it will take them to the corresponding Power BI report for that specific project they selected. For a year now, we were able to use 'co' in the query string as our contains to bring back all results that contain that project id. Recently, this just stopped working, so we switched to 'eq' for now until we can find a fix. Does anyone know what the new contains for query string parameters is?

ex. ?filter=Project~2FProject_x0020_ID%20co%20%2700-0108%27

Have you tried "contains" spelled out?

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I have tried "contains" as well. No luck with that either.
