Anyone can tell if the SPN can do this activity? User is able to export the report to Image files. If we add SPN in the admin setting its not working.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please review this official documentation and check whether the related setting for service principal has been configured.

  • Create an Azure AD security group and add service principal into security group
  • Enable the Power BI service admin settings.
  • Add the service principal to your workspace.

In addition, please note that the report with a sensitivity label cannot be exported to a .pdf or a .pptx using a service principal. Also when exporting to .png is not supported.

How do you say that it is an out of box solution. There is a setting in Power BI Admin portal, Export to Image, PDF word. It works for users. Should it not wor for SPN registered as admin of embed capacity workspace?
