Yes, it is possible to perform transformations on a shared dataset in PowerBI. Here are some steps to do so:

  1. Create a new report or open an existing report that is based on the shared dataset.

  2. In the Fields pane, select the columns that you want to transform.

  3. Right-click the selected columns and choose "New Measure".

  4. In the formula bar, enter a DAX expression to perform the desired transformation. For example, you can use the SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX, COUNT, or any other DAX functions to perform the transformation.

  5. Click the "Apply" button to save the measure.

  6. Drag the new measure to the Values area of the report, and you will see the transformed data.

You can also create calculated columns in a shared dataset, which allow you to perform transformations on the data at the row level. To do this, right-click a column in the Fields pane, choose "New Column", and enter a DAX expression to perform the transformation.

Note that the transformations you perform in a shared dataset will affect all the reports that use that shared dataset. So, be careful when making changes to a shared dataset, as it can have a significant impact on other reports.
