PowerBi Refresh Failing "This native database query isn't currently supported. Table: XXX"

Hello all,

I am using PowerBI to display various dashboards, based on reports, that get data from a SQL database and use stored procedures to pivot on the data when the user changes dropdowns in the dashboard. Some, but not all, dashboards and reports stopped refreshing suddenly around the same time on July 3rd and the error "This native database query isn't currently supported. Table: XXX" has cropped up.

I have confirmed that the underlying SQL database is still receiving data. I have also tried refreshing credentials and repinning the dashboard. The stored procedures seem to execute successfully against the database. So far, nothing works and my dashboards are stuck showing data from July 3rd and earlier.

Has anyone encountered an issue like this and, if so, what were the steps taken to resolve it?

Cheers,
Ryan

Hi @CaptainRyan ,

I am getting same problem after installing the last gateway update.

Have you fix the issue? I appreciate your help!

Kind regards,

Antonio

Hi @ajjodar ,

Unfortunately, the issue is still affecting us. One mitigation we discovered is to not run the stored procedures but to directly use the query instead. So far, we have been unable to use stored procedures.

Cheers,

Ryan
