Power BI custom visual Excel add-in not working

I am tryin g to test my custom visual in Excel and I tried following the steps mentioned in the link below, 

https://microsoft.github.io/PowerBI-visuals/docs/building-for-excel/testing-in-excel/  I am facing a problem while Sideloading the Custom Visual Developer Tool mentioned in step 4, my visual is displaying empty upon adding the custom visual developer tool on excel add-in, but the same visual is working on browser. Also to mention that I have opted to Excel Insider and my data is in the form of Categorical values.
