We are currently building a new platform on top of Azure and had earmarked Power BI Embedded as our BI visualisation solution. Currently we can get a list dashboards and display them with filters. This is great, however we want our users to have the ability to manipulate the reports (as they would be able to with other Power BI offerrings) because our out-the-box dashboards would only be a starting point for their analysis. At the moment we cannot see any way to expose the designer toolbox through Power BI Embedded.
We don't want to lose the time invested into Power BI so far, so can someone please tell me if this is on the roadmap and when we would be likely to see it published?
Many thanks,
Stuart
It would be very important to be able to use Direct Query with on-premise data sources. Not everyone will upload their data to the cloud. Another big improvement would be the passing of parameters to the embedded visuals, I mean securely not only with a request parameter.
