Afternoon Everyone! 😄
I've been wondering for long when I started Power BI, if we can get Microsoft to make our UI lives a bit easier, by creating shortcuts for when we'd like to directly access "New Measure", "Quick Measure", "New Column" and any other clickable buttons that are mainly used by us; so it can ease and speed up our productivity while working.
Instead of going through drop-down menu items when right-clicking the table name in the "Fields" panel; It would also seem to be much better, compared to when you need to press "ALT+Windows Logo" everytime, just for letters to pop up then you enter the capital letter associated to it, then enter again if there's more; just to access a functionality.
For Example:
Shortcuts for
Modeling
1) "New Measure": "Ctrl+Shift+M",
2) "Quick Measure" : "Ctrl+Shift+Q+M",
3) "New Column" : "Ctrl+Shift+C",
4) "New Table" : "Ctrl+Shift+T",
5) "New Parameter" : "Ctrl+Shift+P",
General
1) "Enter Data" : "Ctrl+Shift+D",
2) "Transform Data" : "Ctrl+Shift+T+D",
3) "Refresh" : "Ctrl+Shift+R"
I may also have some thoughts for the DAX Measures but still in brainstorming process 🤔
But the rest is up to us to figure out all together, everyone pitch in! 😁
Now, I can see these changes reflecting how we'll work positively and be massively productive!
PS: Please bring back the dark UI theme 😥
Thanks to all in advance!
Regards,
Aly! 👨💻

Hi @v-shex-msft,
Thank you for sharing your response, but it actually isn't what I meant, and I think perhaps you misunderstood the post and what I was trying to address; which is totally different to what you referenced above.
Please re-consider that your solution is the official solution...
