Hello,
We are implementing Power BI Embedded dashboard and with our solution still being in development, we encountered performance issues. Our dashboard will serve information purposes for call-center so refresh times of 1-2 seconds are really crucial. On the dashboard we are using custom visual which is basically a tile, with background and font colored - i.e. 5 calls waiting in queue, then the background is red and when it's 0 calls waiting, then background's green. Beneath those cards, there are 3 streaming datasets. Currently after pushing the data into Power BI, we have to wait up to 10 seconds until data shows up on cards. For testing purposes we created similar dashboard, but with default Power BI tiles, and it's working much faster (we get 1-2 seconds delay which is acceptable). Once we move to production, we are going to purchase the Dedicated Capacity, and the question is, if it will speed up our visualizations or we should switch to default ones without any further delay? Right now, it's clearly performance issue with custom visual.
