Pass variable to Power BI report

Hello,

I have a Power BI report embedded in a custom portal.  The report contains a button that has a dynamic link to another internal site.  I would like to pass the URL for that site as a paramter into the power BI report.  Is there any way to do this?

More specifically, I want to build the a link like:

https://internal_website.com/session_id=XXXXX.  Where the session_id is dynamic.  How can the session ID be passed to the button in the Power BI report?

Got me there, I can't think of a single way to do that. Are you using Power BI Embedded?
