PWBI changes "date" format from Azure DB to "datetime" format, why??

Hi! I have a question,

why if you import from Azure db a field type "date" it automatically change it to a "datetime" format? It's possible to change that to leave it as only "date" ? Thanks!!

Re: PWBI changes "date" format from Azure DB to "datetime" forma

The Vertipaq engine stores the field as Datetime anyway.  You will still save space due to the cardinality difference.

In the UI you can change the format to what you need.
