I am connecting with an enterprise gateway to a data source using an ODBC connection for SAP - SQL Anywhere. It fails to connect when I am having to add/publish the data source to my Gateway within PBI Cloud. I get the following error:
Failed to connect to data source undefined.
Underlying errorcode: -2147467259
ODBC: ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]
Data source name not found and no default driver specified
I use the same configurations (connection string, auth etc..) as in Gateway(Personal) and here it works as expected.
Is there anything under the hood difference between these two versions that might complicate the connection process?
The same issue is being addressed on this thread:
