Not able to pin SSRS 2016 reports to Power BI site

Hi Everyone,

I have developed chart report in SSRS 2016 environment and wanted to pin to my power BI site but getting error "Can't pin to power BI".

Any Ideas?

@Anonymous Here is the full documentation, but the relevant part is: "Reports need to be configured for stored credentials if you want the pinned item to refresh."

Hi @Anonymous,

As the error message stated, you must store the credential for the data source. When we pin an item, a Reporting Services subscription is automatically created to manage the data refresh of the item to the dashboard. So before pin the report item, we must use stored credential for the data source. For more information, please refer to links below:

Pin Reporting Services items to Power BI Dashboards

In your scenario, please open the report properties, store the valid credential in Data Source page like below:

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
