New to PowerBI = Data model Selection

We’re pretty new to PowerBI.We explored Import,Direct query and developed some dashboards for the POC.We analysed pros and cons of both Import and Direct Query mode.So Decided to develop SSAS model.We are new to OLAP development.SSAS offering two kind of models Multi dimensional and Tabular model.Which model is advisable to start.Our business model is HCM product.For this which model suits in futuristic approach.Our OLTP Database size varies from 20 GB to 1TB.We offer both On-premise and Cloud model.

Hi,

 

I think it's better to go for tabular model as Power BI continously pushing that & with every new update the limitations are reducing.
