Make sure the virtual machine's configuration allows the guest to opem host application

Hello All,

I am encountering follwing message when I tried to open the link

"Make sure the virtual machine's configuration allows the guest to opem host application"

Here are the steps:

  1. I click on publish from Power Bi report builder.
  2. I  select my available workspace.
  3. Click on select.
  4. I  click on Open report name” in Power Bi”.

We  got this message only if I publish report for  Virtual server.

From my PC (Physcial box) its work fine.

I will appreciate any help.

Thanks

3.) Locate HTTP towards the bottom of the list.

4.) Highlight HTTP.

5.) Click the Change program button.

6.) Select Internet Explorer as the default program.

7.) Click Close.

8.) Relaunch Migration Manager for Enterprise

Hi there

I would suggest chatting to the person who looks after the VM and ask them why this is happening.

I work daily on a VM and do not have any issues opening and using Power BI Deskop
