Is there anyway to show spatial data in Power BI

Hi there, 

Is there a way to show customized geometries (e.g. lines, polygons) on an interactive map in Power BI?

Could this be accomplished by using R or Python libraries?

What about breaking a line into multiple points (lats and longs) and showing them on the map? What is the limitation here? Does anyone know the maximum number of points on the map?

Can I use the Esri map? Seems the Esri map can offer this? maybe something like this:https://community.esri.com/t5/petroleum-questions/power-bi-showing-coordinates-as-lines-instead-of/t...

 

I have found these in the preview features but these do not do spatial customized shapes.

For the ArcGIS map, you can add some reference layouts for integration or highlight effect.

Add a reference layer

Add custom reference layers to ArcGIS
