I need to connect multiple parition DBs on azure storage and names can change dynamically.

Hi All,

I have a scenario where I need to connect to multiple partition DBs on azure storage and the source names can change dynamically, so is there a way to connect to source serving such purpose instead adding all connection strings by clicking on "Get Source" option?

Really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Amit

Hi @Amit_Porwal,

I think it's possible with parameter and some custom with M query. Please refer topic (http://biinsight.com/power-bi-desktop-query-parameters-part-1/) to be aware about using parameter and some basic custom with queries in Query Editor.
After that, you could implement your idea by storing all connection string in 1 table. This table will be loaded firstly and another custom queries will get connection information from this table to reload itself. Please check it and let me know if you still stuck with it, I will update sample for that.
