How to select no datapoint?

Hi everyone,

I've made custom filter, and faced this issue: when I have no data to select, as a result I get all datapoint. How to select none?

Regards,

Yerkhan

Hi @ysapiyev,

The default behavior of Power BI is to select everything is nothing is selected.

If you want to change this behavio, you need to construct the filter that fillters out all of data.

You need to any value which is out of the main data to value of a condition.

In other words, it the min value of data set is 0 and the max value is 100 you might create a filter to select all of values that are less than -1.

@v-viig,

If I use regular slicer, will it work?

I think so. We'd suggest to try this behavior out via Page Level Filters.
