Hide columns in the table but show them when exported?

Hello,

Is it possible to hide certain columns in the Table/UI itself, but make those hidden columns show up when users export the table?

Hi @unicorns ,

As far as I know, Power BI doesn't support us to export the tables directly. Power BI Desktop support us to export summarize data from visual into csv and Power BI Service support us to export summarize data from visual into csv or export underlying data from visual into excel.

For reference: Export data from a Power BI visualization - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

And the export file will only show the columns you have added in the visual. So for example, you hide columnA, but you didn't add columnA into the visual. You couldn't see it after you export data into file.

Best Regards,
Rico Zhou
