with Get-PowerBIDataset, using the PowerShell ISE command window with a valid Workspace ID, why is it erroring, there is nothing to it ?

I test with my workspace with similar parameters and their work well.
What type of workspace are you test? Did this issue only appear with the specified device/account/workspace that you test? Have you confirmed the account has enough permission to do work with the REST API?

BTW, the 429 error is a common error that means 'Too Many Requests' sent so that the remote server has blocked these requests. How many requests are you test with these rest API?

Mine works fine to start off with, then it fails, and like you said, it is due to too many requests.
@glenmclaren Have you try to use Postman to send the requests?
here is a tutorial for your reference.
