Gateway refresh when button gets clicked

Hi!

I have configured a enterprise gateway and actually it updates my report by Scheduled Refresh. My report is embedded in an app that is used by our customers and what i want to do is to "Disable" the Scheduled Refresh and activate somehow the refresh ''On Demand'. I'm imaging a 'button' or something like that in my embedded report or in my app that when the customer clicked it, it updates my data via gateway as the refresh option that is in my workspace (as administrator).

Thanks for any suggestion to do this.

@Juramirez

You can set up that button, when clicking, it sends a request by calling Refresh dataset API to refresh one specific dataset.

Do note that the Data Refresh API shares the same limitation(8 times per day) with "Schedule Refresh" with a Pro license. After exceeding the limitation, the API call would get the response saying "Number of refresh requests in last 24 hours exceeded limit". If you'd like to lift this limitation, you may have to buy a premium license(48 times per day), see this link).

Hi @Eric_Zhang

Do you have a example of this button? I can't find something related to do this.
