Failed to load settings

Hello all,

We've been sailing along with our embedded site...it's fast and works great...at least until this am.  We get a message that

Something went wrong.
Failed to load settings ...(some stuff on id, correlation id, and that)

Status code401
TimeFri Sep 30 2016 12:17:14 GMT-0400 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Version13.0.1700.320
Cluster URIhttps://WABI-US-EAST2-redirect.analysis.windows.net

Now 401 is unauthorized access...yet every part of the report on each tab works.  We get this on each menu item of our site--which initiates a new report/token--and when we close the message all works well.  One visual's font looks a little strange but honestly, we clearly have authorized access.

Here's the developer console error message:

GET https://wabi-us-east2-redirect.analysis.windows.net/powerbi/metadata/userSettings 401 (Unauthorized)

Any ideas?  (Our Azure location listed on the Azure portal is NOT EAST2 rather is South Central US, btw, not that it matters but just grasping for straws)

Thanks,

Tom

When I click the "get help" link it takes me here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ and says:

Affected users are unable to view embedded reports in the Power BI service. Engineers are working to fix the issue as soon as possible Next update 9/30/2016 10:30AM PST

It sounds like it's a Microsoft issue...am I right?

@ThomasDay,

Then it behaved as you were informed, could you please help to check if it runs smoothly now?

It was fixed that evening (PDT) and all has been well since then.
