I want to add a excel file to my dashboard.
Simple worksheet, like this:

In this scenario, I would suggest you save your workbook files to OneDrive, then get data from Excel workbook file on Power BI service directly. For more details, you can refer to this article.
Just choose Import or Connect according to your needs.
