Error creating Power BI output in Azure Stream Analytics

Hi,

I'm working on a PoC with "Realtime data" using Stream Analytics and Power BI as the final visualization tool.

What I'm preparing is the following:

Source  -->  Events HUB  -->  Stream Analytics  -->  PowerBI

All the development was going smoothly until I got to the Stream Analytics to PowerBI.

I have my input properly configured, but I'm having some problems creating the output for Power BI that is supposed to create the dataset.

I'm authorizing the access to my PowerBI PRO account and I'm able to see all the Workspaces.

I have tried 2 options with the different works spaces I have and the errors are the following.

  • Case 1: Company workspace that I don't administrate but I'm able to create dataset and reports on it.

"The provided Power BI group was not found. Please ensure the 'groupId' property is correctly set on your output."

  • Case 2: Workspace in which I'm the administrator.

"Your Stream Analytics job is not authorized to access the given workspace."

Does anyone have any idea? what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for the help!

"The provided Power BI group was not found. Please ensure the 'groupId' property is correctly set on your output."

For this error, I solved mine by clicking on the job output and changing the authentication mode from `manage identity` to `User token`.

I had this problem because the tutorial on creating streaming jobs is outdated; it did not have authentication mode in the screenshots, so I did not think much of it. Hope this helps
