Hello,
I am currently working with a small charitable organisation that is looking to use Power BI reports with their SalesForce data. Point is, it would increase user acceptance if we could embed Power BI reports into their SalesForce.
Since this is something that requires a Premium (O365) or Embedded (Azure) license, I wonder if there is some sort of reduced price for such organisations? 600 USD per month (the starting price of Embedded in Azure) might be too costly for them. Worth noting that such organisations do get Sales Force for free.
Regards,
P.
Hi @pmdci,
Currently, the most economical solution for Power BI Embedded is A1 node ($1.0081/hour), which is paid hourly. So you can pause your capacity prevents you from being billed. Pausing your capacity is great if you do not need to use the capacity for a period of time.
For more details about how to pause and start your Power BI Embedded capacity in the Azure portal, you can refer to this article.
Regards
This is nice, thanks. But is there a discount for non-profit organisations in this case as well? For instance a Power BI Pro license costs 3 USD instead of 10.
Hi we are also a nonprofit trying to do the exact same things. I just spoke to a Microsoft Azure rep and he recommended getting it through Tech Soup (you need to be registered with them) which would give nonprofits $5000 in Azure credit.
Please let me know what route you ended up taking as this response is a few months late.
