EXPORT REPORT TO EXCEL BUTTON

Hi,

I've been trying to export a report published in Power BI to Excel as such. I don't need the underlying data and I don't want to export each visual individually. Just one button click to export it into Excel. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The current version does not have such a button that allows you to export the summary data of each visual in batches.

Please submit your idea. Ideas (powerbi.com)

Best regards,
Lionel Chen

Hi @v-lionel-msft ,

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway I could write a python script which can access a table? dataset.to_excel() from pandas can convert a dataframe to an excel sheet, but writing a new power query doesn't seem to have access to any tables or their columns. Only a Python Visual has the ability to access a table but I want a button type activity rather than the script running for anyone who loads the report.
