Hi,

I am trying to find best solution for developing Power BI reports for customers. Which can be easily developed, deployed and handover to customer.

I am not really sure how and where should I start with to find the solution (Embed / Pro License / API etc...), basically lets says we want to deliver a web application or website which has power bi dashboards integrated for the customers which are free users not pro.

Please help me with your kind suggestion and also the road map to implement and requirements.

From what you have said, it sounds like you should use the App-Owns-Data model where your customers need neither Power BI licenses or Azure AD accounts. In this scenario you will need to purchase a dedicated capacity (for production but not development) to pay for the use of Power BI embedding and it is likely that the Power BI Embedded service in Azure will be the best way for you to acquire the dedicated cacptiy you need for permissions.

With this model, your application will be responsible for authenticating and authorizing users. Do you already have a customer portal? Or are you planning to rely on customers already having Organizational accounts?

We have not yet planned with customer portal, but that would be planned.
