Delete rows from dataset with REST API

I can't seem to find any documentation on how to delete data from a push dataset using a Delete request with the API. Is that functionality available?

As there is no rolling hour filtering capabilities on reports/visuals, I want to delete any rows in the dataset older than X number of hours using the API. This way I dont have to filter the report but it would always display the last X number of hours.

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @flennon,

There is a REST API called datasets_deleterowsingroup. But it will delete all the rows. Maybe you can give it a try.

Where do I get the missing variable values?

E.g.  "myorg", data set id?

Do I need an API key or some other auth token?

The doc says to use this URL for DELETE
