Date In Build Hierarchy Issue

Hello,

As Power BI Desktop have a In build Date Hierarchy, But that is not working fine.

Example: if my data is upto january 2018 and i have drag drop 2 filter or slicers from that in Build Hierarchy(Month and Year from Date Hierarchy) then if i select "2018" from Year slicer it should give only "January" in my Month slicer(as my data is upto Jan 2018 only). But this not the case with In Build Date Hierarchy, as when i select 2018 it shows all 12 months in my Month slicer instead of displaying only one month. Though if i select any month except Jan then all data in my charts are displaying blank which is correct.

But why it is displaying all the extra months.

Hope I am clear with my query. Please revert to resolve this issue.

Thanks

@Anonymous,

It seems to work for me. If convenient, share a complete example.

Hi @v-chuncz-msft
Thanks for the reply
Please Check this image.Max date of my data is 23rd Feb 2018(you can see that in Date Slicer). But when i selct 2018 from my year filter then it not filtering the corresponding months, instead showing all the 12 months.Similarly for quartersb too.

I have used Date In Build Heirarchy.
