I have numerous custom connectors now in use that all work fine, but I'm stumped on how to give the connectors a normalized name with spaces like those used in the built-in connectors. I'm having to use Connector_Example instead of Connector Example as it should be. I've tried manipulating various names in the code but either it doesn't change the display name or it breaks the connector where it doesn't show up in the list. Any help is appreciated.
I was looking for an answer to this for a while so thought I'd help out for some future searchers:
Within Publish - You can amend "ButtonText" to a user friendly name.
Connector_Name.Publish = [
Beta = true,
Category = "Other",
ButtonText = { "Normal Connector Name", "Hover message for more information" },
LearnMoreUrl = "https://powerbi.microsoft.com/",
SourceImage = Connector_Name.Icons,
SourceTypeImage = Connector_Name.Icons
