Hi all!
I have developed several SVG elements (bullet, sparkline, kpi id etc) which I need to unite in one visual. I'm using matrix and everything is OK, except the enormously big gaps between rows (area for svg element can be only square). So currently I'm creating a separate matrix for each row and then place them in a way they overlap each othere and hide those blank areas. You know, it's so... ugh. So I need to find another solution.
Is there a way to develop my own matrix based on my svg images? Does anyone have any link for matrix design tutorial? Thank you.
I believe that there is a Grid setting for tables and matrices and within that Grid area there is a setting called Image height. When I was dealing with SVG images a while ago, I found that I could solve a lot of problems by adjusting that Image height in the Grid area. As I recall, it is set to some wacky huge default. Your mileage may vary.
hi! Thank you, but I've tried this before. When we change height, our cell for svg element still remains foursquare. It's one of those simple basic bugs power bi team doesn't want to pay attention to 😞 And my svg element is oblong rectangular (let's say with height 20 and width 100). So all other huge space remains blank (in this case 80x100). And we can do nothing with this. I'm not sure is it possible to fix this with my custom matrix or not.
