Can we use SQL stored procs with parameters to generate multiple reports for diff set of parameters

Hello All,

For the past few days, I have been struggling finding answer to my queries for using SQL stored procedures with parameters to generate multiple reports.

Currently we have our reports in SSRS. The existing reports are based on stored procedures which require the list of parameters. For example, in one of my current reports I have 3 parameters, @clientID, @FromDate and @ToDate. Now when I provide the SP, the values for a particular data range and a clientID, the report pulls the information for all the business activities done for the client during the time range. Similary the same stored procedure when ran for other clients is pulling a different report. This way we have a single SP catering to multiple reports based on the different parameter values

Now my issue lies with converting my SSRS report to the one into a powerBI. I am not finding any means to assign the parameters and make multiple reports use the same logic.

My first question is can we use stored procedures with parameters and genenerate mutliple reports based on the diff set of parameters? I have seen some links but they havent helped me.

Secondly can I also send the client their report as an attachement? I know it would be wrong to compare with SSRS and expect the same but still I am curious about if there is any functionality which can attach and delievr the reports (similar to what SSRS subscription does).

I will be glad if you guys can help me out on this.Smiley Happy

Thanks,
