Are the "Standard" visuals available as open source?

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerbi-visuals-is-open-for-contributions/

few weeks ago, we open sourced the visuals we ship in Power BI placing them on GitHub. The repo, Microsoft/PowerBI-visuals, gives you everything.

August 2015

But.. that's just a 404 page. Does this respository still exist somewhere else?

Hi @Netrelemo,

It seems like you want to check the resource code of power bi visuals, right?
If that is the case, you can take look at the following link if helps. (notice: it seems deprecated for a long time so they may not match with the recent version visuals)

[DEPRECATED] This library contains the Power BI visuals such as the Bar chart, Column chart etc and ...

Hi @Netrelemo,

Unfortunately not any more. The visuals were indeed open sourced back in 2015 but as I understand it they were moved back in-house a year or so afterwards, around about the same time custom visuals became sandboxed from the main application window. From what I remember of the old repo, it would not be compatible with the visuals SDK in its current state.

Regards,

Daniel
