I have a model in SSAS.
A fact table and 2 dims.
It was my understanding, that, we use the relationships is to filter…
I have a fact table and 2 dimensions… there is no relationship between the dimensions.
Whenever I work on a pbix and filter the dimension1, it correctly filters the fact table… but if I am playing around with the dimensions without the fact, also the data gets filtered, how is this possible?
That is, if I select country=xyz in dimension1, then that will also filter dimension2… How come??
Hi @ovonel ,
Do you have a relationship between fact table and dimension2?
Best Regards,
Jay
@ovonel My first expectation is that your cross filter direction is set to Both instead of Single but not enough information to be certain.
