which is the best approach for doing filter ?

Hi All

After play PBI for a while , i start to notice that for filter , there are 2 approach .

one is using filter panel , another is create expression and flag 1 or 0.

i found that second approach is better.

Filter panel is easier and quicker, but only for simple stuff. I'll still use it whenever possible, especially because creating dax measures gets awfully slow quite fast. 10 seconds just to start creating a measure and cancelling it on a medium sized project.
