The scenario is
Project Master
Project ID Project Name Start date End Date Expected end date Project Plan Status
1 A 23/05/2015
Task allocation
TaskID Project ID Allocation Date Due date Task status
T1 P1 20/10/2015 15/12/2015 Completed
T2 P1 25/10/2015 10/12/2015 In progress
T3 P1 23/10/2015 05/12/2015 Completed
Now I have to update Project plan status in “Project Master”on the basis of Plan Status of Task Allocation table. If any of the “Task status” is “In progress” the “Project Plan Status” is also “In progress”.
so please suggest me the solution.

Well, first you would have to relate your tables to one another so you will need to create a new column that concatenates the Project ID in Master with a P prefix. Relate tables. Then, you can try having Project Plan Status be a calculated column that uses IFERROR and SEARCH and feed it Task status, have it look for "In progress". If it errors, set "Completed", otherwise set "In progress".
